In memory of student/athlete Mikail Russo, the MONEY Athletic Foundation announces its second annual Home Run Derby. The Derby will take place on June 1, 2003 (rain date is June 8th) at the Rockport Recreatoin Field on Route 90 in Rockport.

The day promises to be exciting. Four local varsity baseball teams, Camden Hills, Rockland, Belfast, and Georges Valley, will compete for team and individual honors in order to raise funds for the Foundation. Each player must sell ten raffle tickets to participate in the derby. The mid-coast rivalry should bring a fun-spirited competition to this community event. An adult open will follow.
